Experience in the courtroom, not just the conference room

Insurers and defense firms evaluate cases by who is on the other side and whether that lawyer will try them. Brian's record gives clients that leverage.

  • First or second chair in twelve jury trials to verdict, without a defense verdict.
  • First or second chair in four arbitrations, and counsel in dozens of mediations, where his most significant cases have resolved.
  • Builds medically complex cases from the records up, working with experts on causation and the standard of care.
  • Handles cases from intake through discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial, and appeal.
  • Several former clients came to Brian after their cases had stalled with prior counsel.

About Brian S. Parker

Brian has practiced law in Georgia since 2005 and founded The Parker Firm in 2007. Before that, he worked in litigation at JHPII, LLC, starting as a law clerk while in law school and staying on as an associate after he was admitted to the bar. For more than a decade he also served of counsel to The Blaska Law Firm, co-counseling plaintiffs' cases under joint representation.

His practice focuses on injured people and families taking on hospitals, pharmacies, nursing homes, insurers, and government agencies. Clients work directly with Brian, not a call center, and he keeps them informed as their cases move forward.

Brian also brings a regulatory perspective most trial lawyers don't have. He has served as a compliance officer for a national mortgage lender and is General Counsel and co-owner of Conforma Compliance Group, a mortgage regulatory compliance consultancy.

Why this work is personal

In 2017, Brian was diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He went through round after round of chemotherapy and radiation, then a stem cell transplant. Complications left him in a coma for six weeks while his kidneys and liver failed. He pulled through, and he is in remission today.

He knows what it is like to be unable to get out of a hospital bed, to be poked and prodded around the clock, and to live with real pain. He also learned that no one gets through something like that alone. “Having an ally in your corner is critical,” he says. That is the role he takes on for every client, and it is why he can help a jury understand what an injury actually does to a person’s life.

Brian volunteers with the Wounded Warrior Project and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He lives in Roswell with his family and is a proud Clemson graduate and Tigers fan.
